sculpting pawpads! Help?

I am attempting to sculpt a canine pawpad which will later be turned into a mold.

This is my first try on sculpting pawpads. I made the thumb peice smaller/rounder on purpose because I believe that is correct. If I am mistaken and all the finger pads should be the same, plz inform me. Also, I think the picture angle might be why the pawpad looks huge. To me it does not actually look that big.

 I would love a redline/critque that would help improve the shape.

PS. the clay is super soft and the shape can easily be destroyed without even trying. It took me about 40ish minutes to sculpt these.
