Step One: R&D

Yaaaaay! Last weekend I talked to cloverr about making an Osprey suit, and she's willing to do it! The next couple of weeks are now going to be spent researching the birds, wing construction, head construction, and proper materials for simulating feathers. This is going to be a long, slow process, but I'm looking forward to it.

Here's the plan as of September:
-Keep it as realistic as possible (no mascots allowed).
-Keep it as skin-tight as possible
-Whatever I end up with will be machine-washable or dry-cleanable.
-Whatever I end up with will look badass, 'cause cloverr is doing it.

I'll keep you upated as more comes of this project. You can bet I'll be taking LOTS of photos and keeping accurate accounting of material costs and techniques and such. If anyone out there has experience constructing birds, do let me know. =)

Sparky D is now finished... Dragon below *Grin*

Sparky D is now finished *Big Grin*…

After much delay, many set backs, and a few mistakes I’m happy to say sparky_d’s fursuit is finished, and without further chatter here is the proof (Sorry for the large files size, the red is at fault):

I do not know what else to say, other then it has taken me way to long to complete this suit (11 weeks), and I am unfortunately glad to be done with it, now I can move on to the other very patient customers commissions that got in after Sparky did. Better late then never *Grin*…
