I've looked around for a while, and it doesn't look promising... but if anyone knows, I'll bet they're here. I'm looking for a fox (faux) fur in blue... something lighter than the average navy, but not quite baby blue. Ideally I'd like it to be good-quality, "realistic" patterning (not just a flat color), long pile (at least an inch, I think), and blue-tipped silver.
Not likely, huh? I figure I'd be better off giving you my "ideal" desires, but I don't expect to find exactly what I'm looking for. Tell me if you've seen anything that's close, though. Thank you.
I've decided that a panda is my next fursuit project. I would like to make it female and to give it that appearance in the face I'd like to add eyelashes to the eyelids. I'm going to be using static eyes made of plastic bowls much like how matrices does hers, but I'm not sure what would make a good material for eyelashes. I would just want them on the outter edges on the eyelids, and would like them kind of pronounced and noticable. Any ideas?
Also, I've been looking at photographs of pandas and it doesn't seem like they have any sort of visible tail, yet most art I've seen of pandas show them with a black tail. I'm torn, should I:
A.) Have no tail.
B.) Have a white tail or,
C.) Have a black tail?
In the spirit of happy birthdayish money spending, I'm intending to get the materials for my own first personal full fursuit!
In short, I need about 4-5 yards/metres of short pile silvery grey fur (possibly CR's sterling grey seal fur if it's nice quality) and 2-3 metres of short pile light/baby blue, as pale as possible. I'd really like for them to be the same type of fur, and I need to know if I can get some really nice quality stuff. So, does anyone know where I can get both in good seal fur? If not, know of a good quality baby blue shortpile that'd go with the sterling grey?
Also, still offering a couple of cheap 'item trade' commissions for those who want to do something a bit different :)
Ask me if you're interested!
