New Fursuit Head

I started and almost finished this head yesterday. It's a wolf, and my first head built on a balaclava with a movable jaw. It's a lot easier -and funner- than it looks. =3 I have a few questions. I need ideas about the eyes, nothing's working for me and I don't want to ruin the head with ugly eyes, since it's coming out great.

Obviously, the nose is just a little template. Is it too small?

((And sorry for posting twice in a row ^^;))

I'm having issues.. I was using Matrices look for the mesh part of my head. I'd like a moving jaw but I really dont understand how to use balsa wood to do so. I'm looking for an easier way to do it with brads, rubber bands and mesh. Any ideas?

Making patterns?

Before I start my next costume project, I was wondering if anyone knew any good online resources for making your own custom patterns. My last costume was very rough around the edges and pretty sloppy. Over all it was presentable, but I'd like to make something with a higher quality of work this time.

Overall, I want to learn how patterns work and how to go about making my own so I can make higher quality costumes. If anyone can share some tricks of the trade, I would be so appreciative.
