Suggestions on a 4 legged suit?

Hello everyone, first time posting to the list and planning on my first fursuit as well. So here is what I’m planning on doing. I am planning on constructing a wolf costume. The only difference from what I’ve seen on the list is that i want to make a costume that would be on all fours and be able to move around like that. I'm really not sure what it would be called, so not sure what exactly i should be looking for. I’ve seen how everyone does digigrade hind legs, but are there any arm braces or ideas for working with your arms so they look/work more like front legs? I know I’ll have to have some sort of extension just to make them longer like my legs, but past that i thought i would throw it out and ask for the opinion/suggestions of this community. Just looking for something to get me going in the right direction. Thanks!

help please

Hello again!

I'm going to be working on the pattern for my first fursuit this week, but I have a question first.

If you recall, I'm working on a corgi suit. Corgi's have longer bodies and I think it'd be cute to incorperate that in my suit. However, the only way I can think of doing this, is by having the crotch of the fursuit be a lot lower than it should, and therefore the torso would be longer.

But that seems like it'd limit my leg movement a lot, and I can get really energetic and compulsive, and I'd be worried about ripping those seems all long the insides of the legs and crotch.

Any of you know a better way to get the effect of a longer body?

P.S. I finished my first head and set of handpaws last week. I'll post pictures later tonight when I get a chance ^_^!

Taur suit?

I am wondering if anyone knows anything about taur suits? I am trying to put together a preliminary design for mine (it will be my first suit, but I only have the resources to do one, so I am going to work my ass off on it, basically this means I need ALL AND ANY help I can get), even just some pictures or anything will help.

I have a few ideas about how I am going to do it, I just want to see if anyone else has done it better.

If anyone wants more details on my suit, I'll be happy to explin! (I don't have a reference pic, yet.), and yes, it is a TAUR suit, NOT a CENtaur.

EDIT: okay, here is a realy, really, rough sketch of what I ant to do.

first accomplishments

Hey there, I've finally got a chance to post pics of my first fursuit head and hand paws!

I must say I think the head is FAR from perfect, but as a first, I'm pretty content with how it came out.

Anywho, I'd like any comments and/or critiques on how to improve, but keep in mind this was my first try. ^.^
