Stretchy, fuzzy/furry fabric recommendations?

Hi all,

I am going to be making an ocelot costume, but it's not a fursuit. It's going to be unitard-based, kind of like a Jellicle/CATS costume. Recently I made a cheshire cat costume that's similar, but I want the ocelot one to be a bit different. For starters, I don't want to use a shiny lycra unitard like I did for that one; I want it to be fuzzy, or better, furry. I know there's nothing out there for stretch fur other than NFT, and they are too expensive. So, I'm on the lookout for alternative stretchy materials to use, and I'm very open to suggestions. I'm leaning in the direction of minky shag or stretch velour right now. I guess I should also mention that I need the fabric to be white or off-white since I'll be airbrushing the ocelot coloring and markings onto the fabric.

Thanks in advance! =3

Suitable bone/skull material?

I want to make a removeable skull mask for my fursuit, basically. It's going to go over the top of my existing fursuit head, and it will look something very similar to Cubone, the Pokemon:

How would I go about this? What materials could I sculpt it in so it's light and durable? Is there anything I could use that could be painted on with acrylic and lacquered?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, so I KNOW I've seen a bunch of posts about this, yet I can't seem to find any of them in the memories. Anywho...

I've never had a problem with making necks before, but for some reason on this head I am. The head I'm currently working on is round, and the bottom of the foam base touches the bottom of my chin, but doesn't cover the underside of my chin. Example:

Green is the foam, red is where I want the neck.
I'm not sure how to create a fitted neck on it without wearing it. I could make a duct tape pattern, but since the head is already furred I'm not sure how to get the duct tape around the base of the head without it tearing up the edges of the fur fabric. Any suggestions? Also... Does anyone have or can draw a neck flap pattern?
