Need advice with hair accessory

Hello community.

I got a question I hope some of you might be able to help me with. I'm going to make some fursuit hair (done that before so thats not an issue) but in the hair my character got some pearls as some kind of accessory. Like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5582157

Now the question is, how do I get around attaching those to the hair? Do I need to make some myself from clay or can I find some in a hobby store thats big enough? Or maybe a 3rd solution?

I'm going to use black fox fur for the hair.

Thanks in advance :)

Musings on quad suits and body proportions

Quad suits are a very interesting idea in theory - take a human body and somehow transform the shape into one resembling a quadrupedal animal. It's a fun concept, but rarely is it well executed, and recently there have been a very large number of attempts. It's nice to see the concept becoming more popular, though it is by no means a simple thing to do, leading to a large amount of suits that simply resemble normal fursuits with elongated front legs. Below the cut, I've nutted out some of my own attempts at bridging the gaps in anatomy, porportions and such to hopefully make the concept a bit easier to play with :)

I hope that little text-splosion gets some minds ticking. There's a lot to think about when you're making a suit like this - hundreds of issues in fact - but I'm simply focusing on the most basic issue of body shaping as that's my particular area of interest. It'd be very cool to see some tips and ideas from people who've successfully created quad suits in the past though - anyone want to weigh in? :)

Sharpie dye

I heard it's possible to take the felt insert of a Sharpie marker, put it into a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol, and use it as a dye for fur-- however, I tried this, and it didn't work. The sharpie ink didn't mix with the alcohol at all and I just wasted a sharpie xD
edit: I forgot to cut the felt open, it's mixed now.
It's still to hard to frost the tips of the fur with a spray bottle though.

Is there any better way to do this? Or, even better, I'd love some suggestions for the following problem:
I need to dye only the tips of some white fur for a commission, but I can't figure out a way to go about doing so. Help?
